After “Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola”, actress Anushka Sharma, is now geared up for Rajukumar Hirani’s “Peekay” and says she will start shooting for the film from February.
“I am very excited to be working with Raju Hirani and Aamir Khan. We will start shooting for the film in February. I hope we try to make a better film than ‘3 Idiots’ for the audience,” Anushka told reporters during the launch of Femina India’s 10 Most Beautiful Women.
The actress says she is extremely happy at the success of “Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola”.
“I am happy that my film is doing well because I have got lot of compliment for my work,” said the 24-year-old Anushka.
Revealing her secret behind her beauty, the model turned actress said: “When I am not shooting I don’t apply makeup. I drink a lot of water and stay happy… whatever you feel from inside reflects outside as well and I strongly believe in that”.”
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, “Peekay” features Aamir Khan, Anushka, Sanjay Dutt among others.

aamir khan + raju hirani = ATBB
Aamir khan is good, but this Anushka Sharma is so fake.. don’t like to watch her movies! Her acting in jthj/mkbkm was so fake! Wonder why Aamir/Hirani didn’t select some other actress?
What does she mean by “I am happy that my film is doing well….”? Does she think that Matru Ki Bijlee…. was a success? I thought it was a flop. :-O
@Anupama.. Exactly what I thought. Calling a ‘failure’ a ‘success’ in the media, doesn’t change the fact that Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola is the first disaster of 2013.
Her choice of films after RNBDJ is worrying but heres hoping she strikes Gold with the Dream Team of Aamir and Raju. (I’m sure she well)
Actors and actresses clearly live in cloud cuckoo land. Anushka thinks MKBKM was a success and Reshamiya feels K786 was a Super Hit too. Some ‘celebrities’ are really suffering from ‘Believing Their Own Hype!’
Good luck to the forementioned team on Peekay and Im sure it will be a worthy ATBB – that means both commercially and critically it will be considered an ATBB without much fuss and debate. Aamir roxXx
