Amitabh Bachchan finds trailer of Apoorva Lakhia’s Zanjeer ‘smashing’ and gives his best wishes to the cast and crew.
A remake of 1973 super hit action thriller, which was Bachchan’s first blockbuster, the new “Zanjeer” is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and features Ramcharan Teja, Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles.
“Apoorva Lakhia showed me the trailer of ‘Zanjeer’ remake… smashing stuff … all good wishes to the team cast and crew,” Amitabh posted on Twitter.
There is a Telugu version of the movie titled “Toofan”.

instead you said you dont like remakes….now all of a sudden u liked and encouraging the trailer…

@afraz Well, saying that he dislikes Hrithik may be jumping into conclusions here. But apparently BigB has a cameo role in Zanjeer, so he has a bit of an invested interest in it I suppose.
That being said, I’m looking forward to the movie. Looks fun. =)
The trailer is average and so will be the movie with that South actor and murdering the classic touch of original Zanjeer at the cost of action-masala is sad. Big B might have liked the trailer on YouTube! :p
