Alone has collected Rs 3.5 crore on its opening day at the box office. The film has performed well at mass-centres, but business at multiplexes continued to be dull this week too.
On Saturday, single-screen business in the morning was down as compared to Friday, but it remains to be seen if multiplexes pick up towards the end of the day. The reports from the audience is mixed.
After Tevar, our first day prediction for Alone turned out to be fairly accurate. We predicted the film to collect 4 crore on its opening, when the final collections come in, the actuals should be closer to the 4 crore mark.

@Indicine… I must say your predictions have been very accurate for both Tevar and Alone.. But I still feel Baby will collect more than 10 crore on Day 1. People want to watch a good film, there haven’t been many in the last 2 months, except PK.
Both Baby and Hawaizaada will open better than Indicine’s prediction.

baby first day may be low but I believe good content will increase its collection in upcoming days plus there is two back to back holidays which will help it to collected more then 15 crore in sunday and monday hope my predictions rights.
Shamitabh will collect 7cr and baby will collect 11cr…
Tevar is actually a perfect film for horror genre. It shocked, scared, traumatized it’s viewers! lol
if Alone has released like 2900screens like tevar then Alone might crossing 10 cr first day .
anyways its great achievement 1000screens in Horror content with no Star 3.5 cr on day 1 is great .

If baby have good CONENT then it will be avrg otherwise it’s a flop.
Baby will surprise all wid its opening day figure as response from special screening are quiet amazing.
Baby won’t take good opening bcoz Akki hasn’t got star power like khans and Ranbir kapoor.
