On her 23rd birthday, Alia Bhatt spoke about her upcoming film with Shah Rukh Khan. The actress said she signed the film because she loved director Gauri Shinde’s previous film ‘English Vinglish’ which featured Sridevi in the lead.
Alia also said the story of the untitled film hasn’t previously been told before.
“It’s a dream come true to be working with Shah Rukh Khan. Also, I loved Gauri’s English Vinglish. I get along with her beautifully. She gets my vibe, I get hers. It doesn’t take us too much time to figure out things. Also, it’s a story that’s not been told”
On working with SRK, Alia said “What worked for me was hosting the Filmfare Award segment with SRK. We broke the ice there. And hosting is not a joke, it’s tiresome. You have to improvise; you have to feed off each other’s energy. And he’s so supportive. He’s constantly there for you, for the scene, for the character, for the actors. And he’s so bright. More than feeling intimidated, I feel grateful that I’m getting to work with him. I don’t want to waste time getting intimidated. I want to spend that time observing and sucking in everything I can”
Alia awaits the release of ‘Kapoor & Sons’ this week.
The movie will be surely terrific, even though I guess King Khan will only have a cameo.
Let’s see. Hope the makers come up with a catchy title for the movie.

Should be another promising film from SRK directed by a good director.
SRK pretty much said he doesn’t have a cameo and so did Alia so stop persisting with that rumor. Movies have multiple main characters, not just one.
SRK has the best line-up of character and content oriented films – FAN, Raees, Gauri Shinde’s next and Anand L Rai’s untitled Dwarf film.

That’s why I said I ‘guess’ he has a cameo, & every thing we state until there is an official confirmation would be ‘guesses’. An actor like SRK won’t play parallel lead to 2 younger actors. The thing that is clear so far is Alia would be the central character of the movie. So irrespective of persisting or not persisting with the rumours, we all have to keep guessing until we have the final product.

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has sent a legal notice to alleged ex Kangana Ranaut, through his lawyer, for tarnishing his image.
According to a source, “Hrithik told her that she should call for a press conference and render an apology to him, spelling out that she had not hinted at Hrithik Roshan as her ‘silly ex’.
