Akshay Kumar’s ‘Pad Man’ to be filmed in a village

Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Pad Man’, which is based on the story of Arunachalam Muruganantham, will be filmed in a village a few miles away from the city of Indore.

“‘Pad Man’. Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte to shoot in this village near Indore. A true story from Balki” tweeted P.C. Sreeram, the cinematographer of the film.

‘Pad Man’ also starring Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor in the lead, is the real life story of Muruganantham, who found a way to make cheap, affordable sanitary napkins for women.
