The screenplay of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Baby’ has been shortlisted to be included in the core collection of the Oscar library.
Once the screenplay is added to the Oscar library, it will be accessible to students, film makers, writers and actors for the purpose of research and development.
The director of the film, Neeraj Pandey, who also wrote the story and screenplay, was delighted. He said “This is an honour for our film and I am happy that it has been recognised in international markets as well”
The screenplay of several Bollywood films have now been included in the Oscar library.

How can a movies like R..Rajkumar and Happy New Year get in the Oscar Library while a movie like Queen,Shahid and PK not ? It makes no sense. I don’t know what they base on it but it seems to me It’s a joke. Don’t be surprised if Diwale or Bombay Velvet’s screen plays shortlisted next year.

u shd do like this…one being a critically acclaimed patriotic kinda movie
others should be an out n out masala entertainer…3rd should cater to the multiplex audience based on lives n styles of the metros(like brothers)
