The leading lady of Akshay Kumar and Prabhu Deva’s next film ‘Singh Is Bling’ has been finalised. The film, titled to cash-in on the popularity of Akshay’s 2008 hit ‘Singh Is King’, will have Akshay Kumar romancing ‘Heropanti’ star Kriti Sanon.
Sources say, Akshay was mighty impressed with Kriti after watching her performance in Heropanti. It is he who suggested her for the role, which will give a massive boost to her career in the Bollywood film industry.
While Akshay will be playing a Sardar, Kriti will be portraying the character of a dancer in the film.
The first shooting schedule of ‘Singh Is Bling’ will begin in November. The film will be shot in Cape Town (South Africa) and other locations including India.
From the makers of ‘OMG! Oh My God’ and director of ‘Rowdy Rathore, Singh Is Bling will release in theatres on 31st July 2015.
