Akshay Kumar and his leading lady Shruti Haasan were spotted on the sets of their upcoming film Gabbar which releases later this year. Akshay started shooting for the film earlier this month.
Shruti began shooting soon after she was discharged from the hospital after a successful appendix surgery.

WOW.Gabbar will blow all records away.I hope they find a good release date.GABBAR deserves a HOLIDAY release.I also hope the entertainment level is gud as RR.Its ent will do what ce did last year.It will stop kick from doing 200cr and put singham2 in its pockets

Seems like after Boss aka K786 sequel debacle you went underground but I didnt see alot of you during Independence Day week neither- dont tell me you were ashamed to show your face here when the wrath of the lungiwalas was at full force…? @aeeyy,I know gabbar is the remake of ramana having imdb-7.8,but stalin having imdb-5.5.do you can ever think bhojpuri bhai can act a film having more than imdb-6.pity on bhojpuri fans.by the way,my friends are telugu film watchers and I only watches bollywood and hollywood,I hate south films especially their disgusting fights and that are now a days used heavily in hindi films.so I didn’t want akshay to do such films,I like even his flop films like cc2c,patiala house and many more.while gm,hp,hf,ty,welcome are one of my favourites.
I know muruggados,who several times rejected by SRK for his south copies later he went to amir,also SRK rejected sankar’s film robot 1st which later went to rajniji.for these things I am so pleased with SRK’s selection,except his 3 biggest mistakes-lagaan,munna bhai,3idiots.due to which people at least think aamir is a star.he is the one 90’s hero who doesn’t even think ever about south remake.but I will watch this for akshayji sure.@navin,what can everyone expect from you bhojpuris,lol.
While bigger stars are crossing 200-250cr marks at boxoffice , Akki desperately needs a typical 100 cr hit.
