Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar seems to be on yet another signing spree at the moment. The actor is in talks for several films and one of them could be the sequel to the 2012 film OMG! Oh My God, featuring Paresh Rawal in the lead.
The first film, the concept of which was similar to Rajkumar Hirani’s PK, will once again feature Akshay and Paresh.
“Akshay will start shooting for the sequel early next year. All the other details, including the script, are being worked upon”
The sequel to the much-loved film will be produced by Ashvini Yarde, even though there were reports of creative difference between her and Akshay after the release of ‘Singh Is Bling’.
“All is well between them. Ashvini also wants to try her hand at TV, but Akshay doesn’t have much understanding of television. That doesn’t mean that they have split”
The source added that the story won’t be a continuation from where the first part ended, instead it will be a different story that talks about religion and other social issues.
“It will be a different story altogether. It will be a story that will talk about religion and other issues. It will be a spicy film but an eye-opener. However, this will be a fresh film and not a continuation from OMG”

I think they shouldnt do a sequel such a great movie with great concept-Actually there shouldnt be any sequel of such good movies as if sequel is below the ist one it will affect the good will and respect of ist part
Accept it or not, script choice of Akshay was too good in recent times compared to his contemporaries (considering the fact that he does 3-4 movies a year). Hope he continues the same momentum.
Though I believe that OMG was Paresh Rawal show and Akshay had a very limited role in it. Hope, he will get a full fledged role in the sequel.

Awesome line up for akki..all his movies r looking promising..i just wish there was hera pheri 3 in his line up as well would have created havoc at bo…awesome trio of raju shyam n babu bhaiya rocks…but fyn even john is getting noticed by some people due to akkis movies but he is a complete non actor…but he will ruin this movie as well m sure but hope akki is back for part 4 and they continue from phir hera pheri story…eagerly waiting…

Indicine stop comparing OMG to Pk ,everyone knows that PK was an exact copy of OMG only an alien concept that too copied from koi mil gaya.However OMG was better and superior than PK.

OMG s a paresh rawal movie where AK playing like a guest performer. D film needs a boost and Ak provides that with his presence. But I don’t think Ak will sign OMG2 if d makers doesn’t offer him a proper n meaty role.

I do not understand all this negativity towards Akshay (even strange a lot of jealousy around him foolish to compare Aamir and Akki, Akki released 4 films a year, ie a 4 image of Akshay just manages to transform into his character every 2 -.. 3 months, it is a huge talent Aamir produces 1 film per year (and sometimes 1 film in 2 years) 1 film -. 1 image of a whole year to get into the role, is that Akshay turns 2 months, Akshay – 4 completely different images, the role of the game for every 2 – 3 months, Aamir one role, one image per year and Who of these actors can transform better.?
OMG will cross 200 cr in non holiday. That’s the power of Akki sir unlike flop king Salman whose film was unable to collect 200 cr in Diwali period. Even with 5000 screen and 4 days extended holidays. And Bhaitards are comparing true actor Akki with flop non actor Lallu khan Lol :D

If it wasn’t akki omg wouldn’t done as well and Parrish Rawal wouldn’t of feature in his first hero lead role. Akki like the play and decided to produce it as a movie and cast Parrish Rawal in the lead role. It wasn’t Paresh rawals production it was akki’s and akki went all full throttle to promote a gem of a movie. It’s akki’s films even if it was a supporting role, he was doing what aamir did in tzp. Can’t wait for the sequel. Pk was good film but omg was more of a masterpiece, without a heroine they just focused on the plot.
