Akshay Kumar has opted out of Omung Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Five’, after the actor decided against doing the film because of date issues. Industry sources say, Akshay liked the script but couldn’t do the film because of his packed schedule in 2017.
The superstar, who is currently shooting for his next film ‘Jolly LLB 2’, will be working on two Neeraj Pandey films ‘Crack’ and ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’. He also has the big-budget and keenly-awaited film ‘Robot 2.0’ where he will be seen sharing screen-space with Tamil superstar Rajnikanth.
After a highly-successful 2016 with 3 back-to-back hits in ‘Airlift’, ‘Housefull 3’ and ‘Rustom’, Akshay looks forward to what could well be the biggest year of his career in 2017.

Throwing multiple parties? In which land? In ur floppyland?? As far as we all know Akki gave 1 party for having a successful year. Now if u have a problem with that also, only god can help you.
According to BOI, Neeraj Pandey has 2 hits- A Wednesday and S26 and Baby was an above average. But on Floppyland, A Wednesday is a superhit and the other 2 are flops. What’s funny here is that if u ask any 10 neutral people about these 3 movies, atleast 6 of them may tell they won’t even know about a movie called A Wednesday. Tomorrow if Dhoni becomes a blockbuster, floppyland will credit the success to Sushant, whose films open at 4-6 cr(no offense to SSR), as if Dhoni is no one.
Also, on Floppyland a movies that records 2nd/3rd highest opening of all time and recovers investment with worst WOM ever is a disaster.?
Neeraj Pandey reinvented Akshay. If not Akshay would have been struggling. @Jolly akko if you like cry till tomorrow Neeraj re installed Akshay back to Multiplex with non commercial cinema. If not I can’t imagine a franchise like Houseful 3 only scoring 15 cr when franchises of other superstars are hitting 30 cr. Whether its commercial or non commercial cinema on holiday or non holiday Akki has a standard which is 14-16 which is not bad for an actor.
