Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has signed two films. Her comeback film, titled Jazbaa, will be an action-thriller directed by Sanjay Gupta. The actress, who is currently at the 67th Cannes Film Festival, has also signed Mani Ratnam’s next co-starring her husband Abhishek Bachchan.
When asked about the reason why she opted to sign a film with Sanjay Gupta, Aishwarya said “The choices are about working with these film-makers and on those subjects, because I find them exciting. I’m not giving in to the pressure and expectation of questions about what my comeback film will be”
Aishwarya was all praise for filmmaker Mani Ratnam, who has directed her in films like Guru and Raavan.
“Abhishek and I both feel that apart from being an exemplary film-maker, it’s just a pleasure to work with him. There’s something he is always exploring creatively, and it makes the entire team want to push themselves. Working with him is exciting and inspiring, and we are like family.”

what makes sign every other film with his flop husband abhishek ?? he looks like crap beside the most beautiful woman. She should work with dashing actors. Btw why sanjay gupta ??? out of all directors , she chose sanjay gupta ? we have even seen enough of mani ratnam,aishwarya and abhishek. please stop supporting your flop hubby’s career and do your calibre’s movies.
I think Aishwariya Rai is not going to make it (big) in bollywood.. anymore! just like Kajol, when she quit the films during the peak time of her career and settled in the marriage life, being a mummy, busy, so it’s not different with Aishwariya.. no big directors are going to sign her for their movies anymore.. I think it would be better for her to leave the film industry and continue her life as a house wife and a good mummy.
