Aishwarya Rai Bachchan celebrated her 40th birthday on Friday and to make her birthday meaningful she said she plans to associates herself with a social cause.

“Normally, whatever social cause we do, we don’t talk about it. I have learned from my parents to do some social cause to make it more meaningful. This year I was involved with children.” said Aishwarya.

Last seen sharing screen-space with Hrithik Roshan in Guzaarish, Aishwarya is yet to sign her comeback film post-pregnancy.

She thanked the media for coming to her house to celebrate her 40th birthday.
