Akshay Kumar’s Airlift has crossed the Rs 150 crore mark worldwide, making it only the 4th Akshay film to collect Rs 150 crore or more – after Rowdy Rathore (Akshay’s only 200 crore worldwide grosser), Housefull 2 and Holiday: A Solider Is Never Off Duty.
Airlift has crossed the 150 crore mark in just 8 days, it should eventually surpass the 200 crore mark and become Akshay’s highest worldwide grosser. The decreasing rupee value will help (US dollar was worth 55 rupees in June 2012 when Rowdy Rathore released, currently it’s Rs 68 per US dollar)
Airlift has collected $4 million in the overseas markets, making it Akshay’s 11th film to cross $4 million after Singh Is King ($7.2 million), Welcome ($6.4 million), Housefull 2 ($6.1 million), Hey Babyy (4.5 million), Kambakkht Ishq (4.4 million), Namaste London (4.35 million), Holiday (4.2 million), Housefull, Singh Is Bling and Brothers (4 million each).
No Akshay Kumar film has crossed the $5 million mark after 2012, Airlift could be his first film in the last 4 years to do so.
- Airlift India Net Collections (after deducting entertainment tax) – Rs 88 crore
- Airlift India Gross Collections (including entertainment tax) – Rs 124 crore
- Airlift Overseas Gross Collections – Rs 27.1 crore
- Airlift Worldwide Collections – Rs 151.1 crore
With 30 crores as budget crossing 150, mind boggling… Producers will be laughing all the way to bank

Dear hater airlift got much less screen than dilwale…before criticising watch airlift just once keeping ur jealos factor star power and collection aside.u would really feel proud of being Indian .than this collections would rarely matter
Jo film ko collection se compare karte hain unko film ke bare mein kuch nahi pta hota infant khan ki talvar 35 crore collection par dilwale se achi hai dilwale is boring movie, chak de india is good movie talking more about movie rather than collection
