Airlift dropped on Day 6 at the box office, which is its first major drop after performing exceedingly well over the extended 5-day weekend at the box office. The film has collected Rs 6 crore on Day 6, which is a drop of 51% from its first Friday.
The 6-day total of the film is Rs 78.5 crore and Airlift is now looking at first week business of around 84-85 crore.
There are two releases this weekend – Sunny Leone’s Mastizaade and R. Madhavan’s multi-lingual Saala Khadoos. The former is expected to take a fairly good opening, while the latter will depend on word-of-mouth even though the film has got a boost with Rajkumar Hirani backing it.
But with an established film like Airlift, it remains to be seen if the audience will give Saala Khadoos a chance even if it carries positive reports.

Thats a very good collection as being a niche movie it is depending on plexes which perform during weekends but still considering that its just a 50@drop from friday which usually comes on monday but although after having so many holidays the movie has dropped on wednesday is good expect big jumps during weekend although new releases can dent its collections but still the movie will retain alot of screens due to its excellent trending expect a 30cr week 2

Airlift iz made on 40 cr budget ,niche genre nd only 2300 screens which is much lower then highly anticipated Lallu release jai ho but still airlift gonna beat jai ho .

Mastizaade will get a good release so airlift might not score big in 2nd weekend but still 25 cr week 2 possible ..more entertainment value would have made airlift better at single screens….

Airlift will have a lifetime around 110cr only..
Drop basically drastically reduces any chances of crossing 150cr.
