All India Backchod Knockout videos featuring Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor, have been taken down from Youtube, as the controversy over the ‘roast’ show deepened on Wednesday.
The Maharashtra state Censor Board issued a notice to authorities of the NSCI Stadium for not procuring a mandatory legal certificate before organising the show.
In Maharashtra, the Maharashtra Stage Performance Scrutiny Board (MSPSB) regulates all live shows that takes place in the state. But according to a report, the Scrutiny board had not issued any certificate.
An official at the Board said “No performance certificate was issued by us for the AIB Knockout show. The stadium too is at fault. Our officials will be meeting the stadium authorities for further investigation and based on their reply we will decide on the next course of action.”
Meanwhile, all the three parts of the video, which garnered more than 9 million views, have been taken down from Youtube.

Did you guys watch the live event? There are rumors that the show made extremely nasty comments on Arpita Khan, without her consent. Some websites say, they even called her ‘Bhikari’

Ok. I do not understand why this had become such a big issue. Our country had nite problems to worry about than this. I mean for all those ppl calling for banning this (if it’s not your cup of tea do not watch it). It was just in good humor. U may not she with the jokes but there are a lot of ppl who took it in the right way. I mean compared to what happens in something like a comedy central roast in the usa this was much more civil.
I didn’t find the video much offensive.It is the language in which the youth communicates with their friends..I have always supported Kjo,Arjun and Ranveer to have taken part in the show and being such good sports.If some people didn’t like the show don’t watch it.Banning it isn’t the solution.But who are they to decide what the youth should watch on internet.Also Aib isn’t endorsing anything.They are not supporting drinking,smoking which the youngsters may follow and would have a bad influence on them

Sambuddha is the first person who deserves to be banned. He has annoyed everyone here including Indicine Admin. When 2 states released there was no negativity about the film, but look at Finding Fanny and Tevar. So much negativity!
