Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who made his big-screen debut in Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che, has missed out on the director’s next film Fitoor as he didn’t have dates for the film.
“Sushant wanted to do Shekar Kapur’s Paani as well as Abhishek Kapoor’s Fitoor. He requested Abhishek to postpone the date and has perhaps disappointed him.”

Soon after, Abhishek narrated his script to Aashiqui 2 star Aditya Roy Kapoor who immediately gave him the green signal. Katrina Kaif has been signed to play the female lead.
Fitoor is based on Charles Dickens ‘Great Expectations’. The film will be produced by Balaji Motion Pictures.
