ABCD 2 has collected Rs 97 crore in 2 weeks at the domestic box office. The film is now the 2nd highest grosser of the year, after ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, beating films like ‘Piku’, ‘Gabbar Is Back’ and ‘Baby’.
ABCD 2 is also Varun Dhawan’s highest grosser. The film has plenty of milestones to look forward to in the next couple of weeks. It will cross the 100 crore mark this weekend – Varun’s first 100 crore grosser and Shraddha Kapoor’s second after ‘Ek Villain’. The film is also expected to go past the collections of ‘Ek Villain’ and ‘2 States’, both films featuring the younger generation of actors.
If ABCD 2 manages to touch the 110 crore mark, it’ll be one of the Top 30 highest grossers of all time. If it sustains better and does business in excess of 115 crore, then the film will be one among the Top 25 grossers.

Yes and about who is bigger star, I can’t say for now. All I know is Akshay is more popular than Ajay but keeping in mind how reserved Ajay is as a point and not media star unfortunately. Akshay is more known but without a doubt when it comes to Acting, no comparism. Ajay is a much better and composed star. I rate them d same but giving ajay an edge. Movies with sequences Don Dabbang krish golmaal dhoom singham abcd tanu weds manu all have one thing in common. That is their part 2 are all higher grossers. Only akshay among d leading actors again messed up himself with a cult classic Ouatim. That is akshay kumar for u. Quick signing without planning strategizing and then work hard to better it’s sequence. Beechara akshay always at d wrong end and victim of underperforming. Obviously the most underperforming superstar who keeps on fading day by day. Really hope brothers does well cos I think akshay needs to really step up instead of being a laughing stock or mockery bound star.

saw it last night, loved the second half more than the first one.. quite good, loved the dances steps and the shooting in Las Vegas, Varun did good, but hmm Shradha Kapoor didn’t fit for this role because she IS “tiny”, doesn’t have a figure which suits for dancing, no.. Shradha would be good only for loves stories, drama, not for Nache Baliye stuff.
