Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has sustained a foot injury while shooting for his upcoming film ‘Dangal’. The injury could be because of the vigorous shooting schedule and due to the fact that Aamir has put on nearly 30 kgs of body weight to play the role.
The actor was seen wearing a cast around his foot while celebrating Makar Sankranti by flying a kite.
He tweeted “Wishing everyone a very happy Makar Sankranti!!! Flying kites is one of my childhood passions! Love. a.”
Recently, Aamir had admitted the extra weight which he gained for the role has made a big impact on his health. Even his family, the actor said, was concerned
Last month, Aamir was briefly hospitalised due to severe back pain.
Extreme levels of hard work and dedication from an actor, who has achieved everything. Truly inspiring.

Really hatts off to megastar aamir khan. He is not only ruling box office in India, overseas and worldwide buy doing much meaningful, classic roles which no one else can do. I am loving him a lot. He is definitely the pride of Indian cinema. No own can match his stardom, popularity and acting. He is the numero uno greatest actor and biggest megastar. I am big srk fan but I have no qualms in admitting the truth.

Whenever I see shooting pics of Dangal, I got a feeling that Dangal will be milestone on Aamir’s career. Don’t know the boxoffice but it will be a feather in his brilliant acting career. Get well soon Aamir, waiting for Dangal.

@nawaz doesn’t matter, whether Aamir or srk, injured during shooting is nothing to be ashamed too. Hrithik roshan who is more fitter and younger than both these, got injured many time during shooting also. Instead of comparing Akki with these on injuring issue, its good if you wish that Akki not injured in future while shooting. Akki doing 4 film in a year very great, Aamir do 1 in 2 year so he lives his character while shooting, akki mostly doesn’t.
BTW I think Aamir will now celebrate every hindu festival until Dangal releases :)

@Jassi Aamir always celebrates Holi & Diwali festival. He has organised Diwali party every years specially post Lagaan for Lagaan team. It was only last year he didn’t throw party because he injured while shooting Dangal during that time. Anyways after Intolerance comment, patriotic and religious people will notice this now.
