Madhuri Dixit’s comeback film after a gap of 5 long years hasn’t exactly set the box-office on fire. The movie opened to a shocking 30% in the multiplexes while the capacity was as low as 20-25% at the single screens.
The reviews have been below average to bad. The audience response to the last Yashraj movie of the year has also been cold. The only saving grace for Yashraj Films this year was Shahrukh Khan’s Chak De India. While Tara Rum Pum was a average grosser, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Aaja Nachle have failed to make a mark at the box office.
Yashraj Films next release is Akshay Kumar – Saif Ali Khan – Anil Kapoor – Kareena Kapoor starrer Tashan which releases in April 2008.
More on the Aaja Nachle Box Office Collections shortly.
