Govinda’s comeback film Aa Gaya Hero has performed poorly at the box office, with collections of less than 1 crore in its first weekend. The film was a washout pretty much all over with Mumbai circuit contributing 19 lakhs and Delhi/UP adding 12.5 lakhs to the weekend total. East Punjab was extremely poor throughout the weekend.
All the controversy that Govinda tried to create through media interviews, made no difference at the box office.
The film will fail to even recover its release costs, as the lifetime business will finish at around the 1 crore mark.
The collections of Aa Gaya Hero is as follows:
- Friday – 22 lakhs
- Saturday – 20 lakhs
- Sunday – 28 lakhs
- Total – 70 lakhs

@Ajju Bhai, I have liked Bhagam Bhag and watched it multiple times. But that was not a super hit but an above average. Yes, literally it was the Govinda’s comeback film.
Govindaji is my childhood favorite actor his comedy , dancing style no match industry . Even my father was the fan of Govinda because Govinda dancing style . My favorite his songs ” sona kitna sona ” , ” mohabbat ki nahi jati ” , ” kisi disco mein jaye ” , ” paaliya hai pyar tera ” many more . Favorite films hero no 1 , Jodi no 1 , bade miyaan chore miyaan , shikari , aankhein , deewana mastana .

@hrithik kabir without salman, new york which was super hit with non stars like john and neil. Kabir needs talented actor and he will surely give big grosser. Dont forget Salman’s highest grossers that came closest to become ATHG record were with none other than kabir khan. His current highest grosser is also with kabir and now he is working with kabir again. Tell me why salman is working with kabir for third time in 5 years span if he is so huge without kabir? And prabhu deva indeed helped salman revive his career. Prabhu deva has also revived careers of strugglers like akshay, shahid, etc. And RR is also biggest grosser of prabhu deva without salman and that too on non holiday. So dont take these names other wise u will cry. Salman is not any god that whatever he does can become huge. He also needs eid and other major festivals with solo release, huge ticket price, masala commercial genre, multistarrers and so on. Without that we all know what happened in last decade. LOL.
@New Era, why just giving such few examples. Also note that madhuri was paid more than lallu in HAHP and saajan. Isnt it a shame? This proves that madhuri was the star of those movies. Without multistarrers and madhuri starters our lallu was not even comparable to tushar kapoor, zayed khan, etc. His movie marigold was beaten by rakhi sawant movie buddha mar gaya in 2007 clash. Ha ha ha. Isse sharm ki baat kya ho sakti hai. Lallu ultimate clash loser hai. Jisse bhi takraya, sabne uski maar li. This christmas raju hirani and ranbir (the same guy who thrashed his crap with big b and priyanka in 2008) are coming back to show him his aukaat. Dutt biopic will easily eat tigress the billi. LOL.
