Tamil filmmaker Shankar has confirmed that the cast and crew of his upcoming film ‘2.0’ (sequel of Robot / Enthiran) have wrapped up around 50% of the film’s shoot.
“100th day of 2.o shoot. Ufff… Finished two major action sequences including the climax with superstar and Akshay. Loading 50%” Shankar said.
“Some important sequences are being shot in prime locations in Chennai. Since Akshay is in disguise, shooting even in crowded places isn’t challenging for the team”
Meanwhile, Rajnikanth is currently holidaying in the US. He will return to India in the first week of July and begin the next schedule of the film.
Robot 2.0 will release in theatres next year. The film stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead.

But this film main hero will be RAJNIKANTH Not Akshay Kumar.

People saying this is Rajnikanth’s movie. Yes, it is a Rajnikanth movie. Nobody is denying that. But Akshay is playing a villian which is a very important role. Would Lord Ram be great if there was no Ravana? Would Mahabharat be complete without Kaurava? Would Sholay be great without Gabbar singh? Every great hero needs an equally great villain.
With joker boy in the film, it would ensure to stay at 60 degrees to 80 degrees sorry crores clubs.

To all haters who are constantly bashing akki let me remind you fools as much as movie belongs to a hero it also belongs to a villain as well just think about it sholay film wouldn’t be nothing without legendary gabbar singh (no one in that film remembers great actors like dharamji, amitji, sanjeev kumar and others) audience mostly only remembers gabbar singh’s character and his dialogues also in dhoom franchise no one remembers abhishek they only remember john, hrithik and aamir. So robot 2 will be epic rajini sir will be outstanding like always but it will be akki whose is going to rock as a villain don’t forget ajnabee film where he did a fabulous job as a villain and was even rewarded as best villain from star, filmfare and iifa
