2 States could challenge the second highest Sunday collections for films released in 2014, as business for morning and noon shows on Sunday was around 15-20% higher than Saturday.
While Jai Ho, which released on more than twice the number of screens as compared to 2 States, collected Rs 26.1 crore on Sunday, Gunday did business of Rs 15.12 crore.
2 States is carrying better reports (word-of-mouth) than both films and if the evening and night shows show the normal Sunday trend, then the film is likely to collect more than 14 crore today.
The fact that 2 States appeals towards both the youth and family audience is likely to help the film Monday onwards.
Actual collections for the first two days:
- Day 1 – 12.28 crore (holiday)
- Day 2 – 11.89 crore
- Total – 24.17 crore

itz gr8 news 4r da movie, i was hoping dat the movie picks up from yesterday and dat has happen, da movie is rock solid in multiplexes specially in metros, if sumhow it shows growth in single screens from yesterday specially in smaller towns dan we expect huge no: 4r 2day,, my prediction 15 crore
