Raees officially moves out of Eid weekend

It’s official. Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees, which was first announced for Eid in February last year, has moved out of the lucrative festive weekend. Salman Khan’s Sultan will now get a solo release during what happens to be his most successful release period. Producer Ritesh Sidhwani confirmed the news of Raees getting postponed.

Badrinath Ki Dulhania Release Date, Motion Poster

Dharma Productions’ has announced the second film in the ‘Dulhania’ love franchise, starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. The film has been titled ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. Shashank Khitan, the director of ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, will be directed the film that will be produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar.

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is now the proud owner of the new Bajaj V, a motorcycle which contains metal of India’s de-commissioned aircraft carrier INS Vikrant. Aamir was inspired to buy the V15 when he learnt that the new launch from Bajaj contains metal from INS Vikrant, which played a role in the 1971 India-Pakistan war.

Complaint filed against Salman Khan’s Sultan

Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Sultan’ is in legal trouble, as a complaint has been filed in a court in Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh) against the superstar and his director Ali Abbas Zafar. The complaint alleges that the film was shot in Morna area of the UP district but the location was shown as Rewari in Haryana.

Baaghi records 3rd Highest Monday of 2016

Baaghi has recorded the 3rd highest first Monday of 2016, lower than the year’s highest grossers ‘Airlift’ and ‘The Jungle Book’. But the film is higher than a major release like Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN, Sidharth-Alia’s Kapoor & Sons and Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja. The trend is excellent for a film like Baaghi and the film has now gained momentum even at multiplexes – where it did not open well on Friday.

Baaghi Day 4 (Monday) Box Office Collections

Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi has passed the Monday test, as the film is set to cross the 6 crore mark on its first weekday. As per early estimates, Baaghi has collected around 6 – 6.25 crore on Monday. The film is going strong in circuits like Delhi/UP, Rajasthan, Bihar, C.I, C.P and it’s these circuits that will continue to drive the business of the film. In Gujarat too, the film has shown an excellent trend, both over the weekend, followed by a very good hold on Monday. It’s the smaller B and C centres that are generating a healthy number of footfalls, which hasn’t been the case for most films this year – apart from the Hollywood release ‘The Jungle Book’.

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have teased fans with their next film, which will be India’s first love franchise – reportedly titled ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ director Shashank Khaitan and Dharma Productions will officially announce the film tomorrow.

Kabali Teaser records 5 million views, 2.4 lakh likes in 24 hours

The teaser of Kabali has smashed all records on Youtube. The video has crossed the 5 million mark in less than 24 hours after its release. The ‘likes’ of the teaser are record-breaking too, with 240,125 likes in just a day. Kabali marks the return of Tamil superstar Rajnikanth, after the ‘Lingaa’ debacle in 2014.
