Dhobi Ghat star Prateik and his Ek Deewana Tha co-actor, Amy Jackson have been linked up as a romantic couple for quite sometime now.
The two, who have regularly been spotted at social events, have become quite a team at award functions. And now, as the award season draws nearer, Amy Jackson is apparently very keen to visit all the award functions with Prateik.
The actor, who was made his debut in Imran Khan’s Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na back in 2008, is likely to be nominated for his role in Dhobi Ghat (debut category).
“If Prateik and Amy turn up together, the focus will be on them, since he would be nominated and his chances of winning are also very high. So, the attention will naturally shift to the two,“ says an industry insider. “Amy and Prateik are very close, so it’s natural that they will attend the shows together. Especially, thinking from Amy’s point of view, she would like go to these events“
Prateik though, denies the linkup and simply says the he is ‘good friend’ with his Ek Deewana Tha co-star “Amy and I are good friends and so, it’s natural for us to attend all the functions“
Amy is the winner of the Miss Teen World competition (in United Kingdom) in 2008, and also appeared in a Tamil film titled Madrasapattinam in 2010. Ek Deewana Tha with Prateik is her Bollywood debut and it’s on the sets of this film that the two, according to rumors, fell in love.
