Bollywood megastar Salman Khan, who plays a ‘specially-abled’ man-child in his upcoming film ‘Tubelight’, has said anyone could’ve played the role of Laxman – the character which he will be seen portraying in the film.
The actor said, several other actors in the industry could have done the role. He picked three actors – Aamir, Hrithik, Akshay – and said Hrithik would be a good choice because he has already done a similar character before (Koi Mil Gaya / Krrish).
“Aamir hasn’t played a character like that but Aamir is really good. Hrithik has done it, so Hrithik would be a good choice. And Akki. Anyone would have done this. I’m sure if they would have accepted the role, they would have done full justice to the role. It’s just that I am locked up with Kabir (director)” Salman was quoted as saying in an interview.
Tubelight, the biggest Hindi release of the year so far, releases in theatres tomorrow.
