Yaariyan marks the directorial debut of Divya Khosla Kumar, who realised her dream of directing a film even though she was pregnant throughout its making. Divya who has acted in a few films before she married T-Series head Bhushan Kumar, also said that her husband rejected 3 scripts before finally approving Yaariyan.
The film is a film targeted at the youth, it promises to take them through the trials and tribulations of the best years of their life. Set in a boarding school of Sikkim (India), Yaariyan is a story of close knit 5 friends who are exploring the best moments of their lives in college, experiencing different relationships and learning new values every day.
Yaariyan is about different characters, their bonding, their friendship, their problems, their fun, their mistakes, their relations. It is about their yaariyan during good and bad, thick and thin.
Yaariyan is about all your first – first love, first challenge, first outbursts, first strong bonds of friendships.

this film is better than than krishh 3 i totally like this new movie . when it was released we are too excited to watch yaariyan there are many emotional, entertainment songs and it is better than all movies i have ever seen………..
