After Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, Actress Anushka Sharma has expressed her desire to work in a Hollywood film, saying it would be a great opportunity.
“Yeah, it would be a great opportunity, because as an actor you would want to do all kinds of work. Working in a different set-up will be interesting” Anushka said.
“I feel today is the right time for Indians and other representations we are getting in international films… So something where I am not playing a stereotype of an Indian and something interesting and realistic” she added.
When asked what sort of roles she’d like to play in Hollywood, Anushka said it would always be content or a challenging role that would take her there.
“Something that I am not doing here, I would not do it in Hollywood either. It would always be a content or a challenge that would take me there, for no other reason I would work there because ultimately for me everything is the same as long as I get to play a good and challenging role any place is most welcome” Anushka said.
I sometimes wonder, how SRK, salman, aamir, hrithik, akshay have never been in news about going to Hollywood.

Anushka is the real queen of Bollywood. She was nearly flawless in Sultan. Loved her character and her chemistry with Sallu was amazing.
Btw,She is not afraid to take risks and enjoys working with new directors while the so called queen of Bollywood Deepika is very safe in her choices.

I don’t understand why only big female actors go to Hollywood. Is it because they are paid less in Bollywood? Age restriction for a heroine in bollywood? I don’t think so because Kareena is 5 years older than Deepika and she is still giving hits.

If everyone goes to Hollywood, how will our movie industry grow? I agree that it’s their personal choice to work anywhere they want and it may also be due to monetary reasons which is completely fine. But if this trend continues, then our industry will be left behind and we would not grow as much as we could have.

I really love Anushka, she delivered top performance in films like Band Baja Baraat, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, PK, NH10, Dil Dhadakne Do and even in a flop like Bombay Velvet she was flawless. Now with Sultan she delivered once again a top performance. Waiting for ADHM !
And I hope she won’t go to Hollywood if the role is bad. I mean, Quantico is not a good series at all, so please don’t go the PC way Anushka :/
