Bollywood star Deepika Padukone has said she would miss the presence of Shah Rukh Khan by her side, when her film ‘Bajirao Mastani’ releases with ‘Dilwale’ on December 18.
“I am definitely going to miss Shahrukh on that day. Eight years ago, it was a very special day when I started my journey, my career. So, the feeling is there that I will miss him as he is part of some other movie. But having said that, we both are doing very different films. As an audience it is very exciting that we will get to see two such different kinds of movies” Deepika said.
The last time a SRK starrer clashed with a Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed film, Deepika was making her Bollywood debut in ‘Om Shanti Om’. This time around, she is the opposite camp.
The genre is no different – Dilwale is a mass entertainer, while Bajirao Mastani, much like Saawariya has lesser appeal. However, Ranbir and Sonam were making their debut back in 2007. This time around, Deepika is one of the top stars in the industry and Ranveer has also established himself as a rising star. The success of ‘Baahubali’ has also given the ‘epic historical’ genre a big boost.
With 5 days to go for the release of the two films, there is nervousness in both camps. The stakes are high and with the multiplex audience making smarter choices, the film with better content is bound to win the much-hyped box office battle.

And Deepika is FAN of KING KHAN and she usually now a days got many average/flops,that’s why reminds of KING KHAN so much.

I don’t think there is nervousness in Dilwale’s camp..trade is super confident, the audience response has been good to the theatrical trailer and songs, the film will also get a wider release than Bajirao Mastani,the genre is favourable for a festive date,It has Shahrukh Khan-Kajol and Shahrukh khan-Rohit Shetty combo..What more can u ask for?

BM total landing cost is 150 crs.. film needs to do atleast 200 crs. to achieve hit status and for blockbuster 300 crs.. almost same scene with Dilwale.. Dilwale is little safe as it should collect atleast 180 crs if film is like hny.. if wom is like bajrangi bhaijaan or PK or even Chennai Express then 250 crs. is easy.. on the other hand Bajirao even if its better than Ram Leela it can only do 150 crs.. max.. as Ram leela. did business around 100 crs only so due to clash BM can do max 150 crs. which mns it can recover cost only that too if its wom is really good.. so in the end its BM loss only.. everyone knows which film os bigger can which will win.. but questn is which film can win hearts. thats questn which will answered on 18 Dec.

Silly people who are cursing Deepika for no fault of hers.
Srk didn’t recommend Deepika for her first film. She got selected after screen test. She hence doesn’t have any committment towards srk.
She gave her best in Chennai Express, where again, she was the choice of the Director – Rohit Shetty. It was he who cast her in that movie, and she gave the role of a lifetime with her brilliant performance.
BM clashing with Dilwale is no fault of hers. Deepika is only acting in BM and is neither the producer or Director of the movie to make a call on when to release the movie. It is a Bhansali movie.
I hope this fact is well understood by those cursing fans.
