Industry is abuzz with rumours surrounding Shahrukh Khan’s film with ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ director Maneesh Sharma.
If a source from Yash Raj Films’ is to be believed, SRK might soon sign on the dotted line and start shooting for the film in June 2014 – soon after the next season of the Indian Premiere League.
If everything goes according to what’s being planned, the shooting schedule of the untitled film might be wrapped up before the release of ‘Happy New Year’. (scroll down below the image to read rest of the article)

The source also added that the makers (YRF) are targeting a Christmas 2014 release, setting up a clash with Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet.
If the rumour turns out to be true, Shahrukh will have two releases in 2014 – Farah Khan’s Happy New Year which releases during Diwali and Maneesh Sharma’s next which could release during the New Year celebrations!
When asked if he has already signed the film, Shahrukh said “Not yet, when I do the film I will let you all know. I haven’t started anything new. I will be working on Happy New Year for the next two months. After that, there are 2-3 film offers. Whenever the film gets designed, I will decide accordingly”
However, Khan also said that Maneesh Sharma’s film is on top of the list “I will take holiday after I finish Happy New Year, as last time I did not take it after completing Chennai Express. I jumped on to my next film immediately. I will take a month off and then start a new film. There is Maneesh Sharma’s film on top, Rahul Dholakia’s movie and few other film offers on which I will take a call soon”

Looking forward to this film. SRK should work with directors like Maneesh Sharma instead of repeating Farah Khan, Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra etc.
New directors will have fresher ideas and will present him in a better way.
If this film happens, I think Parineeti will be cast opposite SRK.
Back to YRF.Srk only works with YRF,Dharma production and his home production.Srk can’t give any blockbuster by working in any other production houses bcoz he will struggle for a hit there.

Ranbir n srk are very close, there is no chance of clash between srk v/s rk film. Manish sharma film is a pre production stage, nothing can be finalised even srk him self not singed it in dotted line, but jagga jasus sifted from diwali to 2nd oct clash with bang bang

Well, so much for Rest & Relaxation and making only one film a year for our Mega Superstar, Shah Rukh Khan. Even though his body is certainly telling him to be more considerate of it as time passes. His need to be on the go all the time is part of his innate nature. Therefore, unless he chooses to harness that energy — (unlikely — I suppose we can expect him to stay on the go. God only knows how that is affecting his wife and children and sister (among others close to him), not that I am asking because I, for one, do not believe it is the public’s(including me) business to be informed about that. However, I hope and pray they are all able to maintain peace, love, and enough measure of time together along the way with God’s blessing. Also, I hope they are all taking lots of photos of them spending time together with little AbRam so that when/if the time comes that they want to share them with us, they will have lots to show us. Wishing you great success with “Happy New Year” King Shah Rukh Khan as well as all that you hope your next venture will bring.
