Visibly worried about the reports that the tickets prices of Dhoom 3 have been hiked, Aamir Khan on Friday said that the prices are the same as Shahrukh Khan’s Eid release Chennai Express and the audience can watch it as per their own budget – as tickets start from Rs 70 and go as high as Rs 700.
“If there is this misconception that the ticket prices for ‘Dhoom 3’ have been increased, then the audience will not come to watch the film in theatres. For the past two to three days I have been worried about this. I want everyone to watch this film in their own budget. In Mumbai, there is a theater like Gaiety Galaxy where you get to see the film in Rs 70”
“The ticket price for ‘Dhoom 3’ is exactly like that of ‘Chennai Express’. It’s the same rate and in no theatres the ticket rate has been increased. I want to clarify this. There is not even one percent of increase in the ticket price,” Aamir said.
Dhoom 3 (IMAX-Wadala, Mumbai) – Rs.900/- for 11am show. I am a die hard Salman fan and also a big Aamir fan but this is a fact. Few fans may get biased but you cant deny that Dhoom3 ticket rates has been hiked by a big margin.
I will watch it in Rs50 at a single screen,as multiplexes here in raipur are almost booked,and they are charging more for advance booking.

IMAX tickets are very very expensive compared to normal theaters. And an IMAX screening is 100 times more enjoyable than normal Screen.
And there are just 4-5 IMAX theaters in India. So it makes almost 0.1% of theaters with that ticket price

@Tejan Ticket prices r high for Imax theatres only which r very less in India.Ticket prices r normal in other multiplexes chains and single screen theatres.Aamir is 100% right.
Haters have spread this rumours of hike in ticket prices but Aamir’s clarification now has put an end to this rumours.
Without reading review and watching songs,I will not spend even a single penny on this.I mean before watching any movie I will always make sure wheater it’s my kind of movie. Who wants to loose money and time together?

why does everyone has to compare his product with SRK’s! He can say that prices are normal.. “Same as CHENNAI EXPRESS” means he is saying people if you saw CE go see my movie as well..!! It could have been same as K3 also.. But he knows the true collections of K3 lol!! Aamir you are a brand on your own and a great actor.. Need not compare with others.. If your movie is great ppl will watch it as all know its not everywhere that prices are hiked but at a few places only.. ATB!!
