Tashan directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the screenplay and dialogue writer of Dhoom and its sequel Dhoom 2, under Yash Raj Productions banner is a multistarrer movie to hit the silver screens in April 2008. The movie features Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor and Kareena kapoor in pivotal roles.

Tashan marks the come back of Anil Kapoor with Yash Raj banner after 15 years, Lamhe (1992) being their last film together. The movie also brings back Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor to the Yash Raj banner.

Also, Kareena Kapoor is said to don a very glamorous look just like Aishwarya Rai in Dhoom 2.
