But if you are talking about Friday showdowns dont you think Salman has proven not once but numero times? Thoughts r good but they are called as dreams if you dont back them with facts. He wanted to know what is it that Salman does that he has become a phenomenon like Big B. Everyone was saying that srk has replaced Amitabh, but now since the last few years people are saying that in fact it is Salman who is equal to the phenomenon that Amitabh was.
Hence, you can see he is now changing track from Romance.
Salman has the biggest blocbusters since the last 20 years than srk or aamir.
Aamir choose his movie, that is not because he likes it, but he will faily epicly in movies that needs pure action and brawn like Dabanng or Wanted.
This is not my words, it was said by Aamir himself.
He said, “Salman doesn’t need much to impress the audience he has the natural charm, while we have to look at the script and work hard to impress people”.
If he had it easier, would he have done so much work? absolutely no.

SRK excelledin romance, but why does his romance films not doing well and why he is doing action?
He knew age has caught up and romancing young girls with romantic songs and running around tress will not help and hence he has taken up action like Don, which did decent business.
But, he failed again in JTHJ. Even if you guys go ga ga over 100 cr collection, you cannot deny the fact the other factors that contributed – Yash Raj’s last movie, hence sentiments made people go to the movie, followed by Katrina, who has the biggest fan following among heroines, and then srk followers.
Even after all this the movie reached 100 cr huffing and puffing.
Salman doesn’t need any of these, just his name is enough to shatter box office.
Just like Navin has challenged to be srk fan if mental fails against CE in box office, i bet none of you have the guts to challenge Navin on this, because just like Navin is confident he will win, so also you are confident you will fail.
@superstar in late 80 to early 90 salman looks like a lover boy and now salman looks like angry young man. I like hahk and mpk but and accept hahk boxoffice collection higher than ddlj but ddlj still in theaters not hahk.
just see all comments favoring srk have very less likes and more no.of dislikes….& and the comments which are against srk have more likes and less no. of dislikes….so this means that srk’s fans who were earlier active giving likes to him have also become less…..surely now srk is definitely out of top 5 considering india !!!
@romance express, i agree whatever u said regarding salman’s late 80’s and 90’s to now but what about shahrukh neither he looks lover boy not angry young man and yes about DDLJ still in theatre but what use of movie playing in the with not à single audience watching, no doubt DDLJ is finest film till date

even actress lik maduri is more popular thn akki….did some comedian roles where paresh rawal comedy timing beats non sense dialogue delivery with weak voice…rowdy rathore is hit becoz it is better film its made in south which big hit in kannada and tamil also…akki dialogue lacks punch and his expressions are like actor who made debut with film…srk ruled industry upto 2007 in india and overseas after take over aamir,salman now..still srk is miles ahead in overseas…

Chennai express is not action film, its a romantic comedy with typical type of rohit shetty action with car sequence. If srk do a romantic film then it will be hit but if he do action film then it will be a flop in both domestic and oversease boxoffice. Srk is the king of romance and no one can beat him in romantic film in next 10years.
