Shahrukh Khan seems to be following the foot steps of Big B. Be it the remake of his classic movie (Don), or hosting a season of his popular TV series KBC or associating with a politician.
Amitabh Bachchan was roped in by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, as the brand ambassador of Gujarat. The current chief minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee also chose an actor to be the face of West Bengal and it is none other than Shahrukh Khan.
As SRK owns an IPL team Kolkatta Knight Riders he frequently visits Bengal. Recently he was in the state to promote his movie Ra One. He was also invited as the chief guest for the opening ceremony of the 17th Kolkata International Film Festival.
King Khan is very excited to be the brand ambassador of the state and has promised to tell the producers to consider this state for shooting movies. Infact, he wants to own a house in Kolkatta.
SRK tweeted last night saying “Awesome feeling of love in Kolkata… got to be in such august company… and mamta didi was so sweet… and the crowds at the airports..”
Srk is not following the foot steps of Big B but Big b is a great super star and srk is the only super star in the country which can replace .
