Salman Khan, no limits for his comfort and style. The van is his second house

Salman Khan has a penchant for all things grand and beautiful. The actor has now designed a vanity van for himself (it will cost around Rs 80 lakh). The made-to-order van is being put together at Saki Naka in Andheri east. It will be delivered to the actor on May 5.

“Salmanbhai’s van will be like his second house. This is why he wanted to design this van himself. The van will cost Rs 80 lakh. He wanted enough space in the van for parking his Suzuki Hayabusa bike too,” says our source.

Incredible as it may sound, the spacious van will even have a corner where Sallu can play games. For instance, there’s a carrom board. Describing the interiors of the van, our source says, “The van will have two rooms, a private one where he will work out and rest. It will also store canvasses as Bhai loves to paint. The interior will be done using some of Bhai’s own paintings. The second room will be for meetings. The state-of-the-art van will have a coffee machine and a refrigerator. It will also house a plasma TV and a huge collection of DVDs. The toilet will have a shower station with specially ordered aroma soap bars. Salman is very fond of music so he plans to install a swank music system complete with a set of Bose speakers.”

Needless to say that the van will have a wardrobe and shoe rack too. “Bhai has insisted on getting a wooden shoe stand,” says our source. The source adds, “Bhai prefers black and pastel colours. So maybe we’ll use those colours. In all likelihood, the van will be ready by May 5.”
