With the ‘blockbuster’ success of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani now behind him, director Ayan Mukerji is rumoured to be working on his next film. If reports from a national daily are to be believed, it’ll be a superhero film after light-hearted romantic entertainers like Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
The film, quite obviously, will feature Ayan’s favorite actor Ranbir Kapoor who will be portraying the character of a superhero.
If the reports turn out to be true, Bollywood will get its third superhero after Hrithik Roshan (Krrish) and Shahrukh Khan (G.One).
A source close to the film says “Ranbir trusts Ayan’s abilities. He has enjoyed working with the filmmaker so far, and is looking forward to their next outing together. This film will be mounted on a much bigger scale than their earlier projects.”
Times Of India also reveals that the movie will be high on stunts, and the idea is to capitalise on Ranbir’s huge fan-following.

This is not confirmed as Ayan told in an interview tht he is more intrested in doing super hero project in his next film as he wished to stay away from regular rom coms but he didnt confimed his next project
By the way Ranbit next 3 movies were booked after Besharam they are ROY(2014),Bombay velvet(2014),Jaggas Jassoss(2015) so till 2015 his call sheets were unavailable
One more rumour that anurag kashyap was also planning to make Doga as a super hero film
So what ever may making a super hero movie is not an easy task if it didnt worked then it will become an comedy film and huge losses will occur to distributors and exhibhitor
As a viewer but not as hrithik fan in my opinion other than krrish no body had succeeded to potray super hero character in indian cinema out of which just Ra one had become a profitable venture but it doesnt reached the expectations and in south india some people tried but occured huge losses
So Ranbir is suitable to play a super hero but first he had to under go an image make over mostly his movies were play boy oriented or comedy flick even though he experiments but till date he has no Action movies if he proves his ability in an out and out action flick and then he can do a super hero other wise he will gets less support but i support Ranbir
