Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up to begin working for his most-awaited film, Sanjay Dutt biopic, which will be directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
The actor has confirmed that the film will go on floors late in 2016 or early 2017.
Ranbir also said he would be bulking up and possibly going bald for the film.
“I have to remodel my body structure to look like Sanjay Dutt in the film. So we will be working on that. I don’t know how much weight and muscles I have to pile on, but there was a phase in his life when he bulked up, was bald, so Raju Sir and I will sit and discuss all that soon.”
Ranbir will start working on his physique after wrapping up the shoot of ‘Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’

In Sanjay, Salman, Amir, Shahrukh, Anil, ajay, akshay Biopic nobody can do.

The movie will be huge and so will be the box office prospects. It’s Hirani who is a blockbuster director. He knows the pulse of the audience & the myth that Aamir was responsible for the success of 3 idiots and PK will also be busted.
I do not want to see Ranbir as Datta. Ranbir has no charisma, it even a good game, not achieved. Plus, he’s just ugly. If Dutt handsome in his youth, the Ranbir looks like an owl !
Purely feminine – he is no !!! He can only draw the attention of the girls of their money, and name. And if just so, he will not look without pity.

I would 100% opt for John Abraham or Hritik Roshan to do justice to Sanjay sir Character esp after seeing them in Agneepath and Shootout

I think Aditya Roy kapur would have been a good choice ,he has done drunk guy role in most of his movies nd hve done them very well …! Voice is also strong like sanJay …!

This movie will be the biggest test of Ranbir Kapoor in terms of Performance as well as Box Office . Ranbir has not changed his physique for a movie and now for this movie he has to become bulky and strong . Sanjay Dutt had a outstanding personality . He was handsome, bulky, had a powerful voice and had a troubled personal life . Not only in terms of Physique he also has to modify his voice because everybody knows Sanjay had a masculine voice . I am still not convinced RK will justify the character of SD but you that’s the real challenge he has to prove that he is perfect for this role . Apart from RK this will be a huge task for Raju Hirani because he is going to make a biopic which is always a risky task . This movie will also have references of Underworld, Prison and Court Cases which will be extremely new for him .
sidharth malhotra would have been the perfect choice for sanjay dutt biopic, sid has the perfect characteristics- he is tall,handsome,muscular and intense, ranbir kapor looks like a sweet chocolate boy, sanju baba is a completely different persona, he has been a great actor and a badboy
Will watch only for Raju Hirnai and Sanju Baba !!!!!!!!!!! This kid is a waste !!!!!!!!!!!! :-p
