Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan met winners of the ‘Share a Frooti with SRK’ contest in Mumbai on Saturday. As part of the contest, only 10 of the superstars die-hard fans got a chance to meet and share a Frooti with the Chennai Express star.
Fans of the actor were asked to dial-in on a number specified on Frooti packs and narrate short stories, mimic dialogues from SRK’s most famous films or use Frooti’s iconic jingle tone — describing their passion for Frooti and their favourite superstar. The contest started on April 10th and closed a day after the release of Chennai Express on August 10th. Later, the winners were announced. The lucky fans who got a chance to meet SRK were from UP, Delhi, Gujarat and Rajasthan.
At the event, Shahrukh said “I would like to thank everyone who participated in the Frooti contest. I really enjoyed the time I spent with the winners who expressed their love for me so sweetly.”
