Krrish 3 was rock-steady at the box office on its second day, with minimal drops of around 15%. On Saturday morning, business dropped by around 40-50% compared to yesterday’s fantastic start, but towards the end of the day (evening – night shows) the film has fared very well, especially at high-end multiplexes.
In Kanpur the film dropped by around 15%, in Nagpur by 25%, in Mangalore business was about 5% lower than yesterday. Bihar circuit was steady after record-breaking opening day business.
As per estimates based on figures from a select few screens, second day collections of Krrish 3 is likely to be in the 18-19 crore range. Tamil and Telugu versions will add around 1-1.25 crore to the total. The 2-day total including all versions should be around 45-46 crore.
Saturday was extremely crucial for Krrish 3, because a film of this magnitude is considered a ‘failure’ even if distributors break-even i.e recover their investment. A film like Krrish 3 is expected to give huge returns like most Rakesh Roshan directed films do.
Trade sources say, about 100 – 150 screens will be added in a few circuits after Diwali on Monday, when theatres reopen in smaller towns. A distributor we spoke to, was confident that Krrish 3 will put up excellent numbers Monday onwards when family audiences come out in numbers to watch films.

this film will be blockbuster for sure i watched and i’m very pround to be hrithik fan. The feeling that Hrithik Roshan gives in krrish 3 is phenomenal.. I will go and watch it again second time!

I really appreciate the effort Roshans have put in this movie but for me it’s an average movie, the first half was quiet good though…Not bad for 1 time watch, at lest it is better than Chenni Express, won’t be surprise if it breaks CE’s record…

Indicine, Why separate rules for K3 and Ra One.You had admitted that many distributors lost money in Ra One.The film made just 12 cr profits for producers with a grant from UK government.In this article you had clearly mentioned that a film of this stature would be considered a failure even if it break even for distributors.Forget break even,Ra One saw distributors losing money.Still it s a hit for you.How come.And about SRK s product endorsement fee ,SRK is the producer of Ra One.if we consider the fees of SRK in Ra One the budget escalates more.

I watched it today… It is a decent movie.. not bad..not good..more like a one time watch… Story is fine for a superhero flick, but I din’t find any wow moments in the movie…. Songs were a big let down… Kangana ranaut was the best part in the movie.

Hehe that means RA1 was a flop. chapter closed. Thats y I say that this website is very biased towards SRK. THey had an article few days ago to prove RA1 was not flop and included music and tv rights in the totals.
