Producer-director Karan Johar has said that he isn’t ‘stupid’ to cast himself in his films. Johar made his acting debut (full-fledged role) in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’.
“I can’t cast myself, I’m not that stupid. Not even one person has offered me a role. I’m waiting eagerly for some offer, at least a poor offer which I can refuse” Johar told reporters during the launch of a song from ‘Baahubali’.
The director, jokingly, also added that he tried to do his best, but no one wants to see him act on screen.
“I tried my best but I think nobody wants to see me act on screen.” Karan told reporters.
He also spoke about ‘Shuddhi’ making history, even before going on floors.
“Shuddhi has crossed the making time of ‘Bahubali’ already. That film has been in the making even before it has been made. Shuddhi has created history before it has even gone on-floors.”
On being asked if he would produce a film directed by S.S Rajamouli, Johar said “I would love to make a film with Rajamouli again. And I am always ready to collaborate with him.”

I like the nature of Karan Johar . I am really happy that Karan has backed a project like Baahubali . I loved the trailer of Baahubali and it is looking like a epic movie . It is the most expensive movie in India . A honest suggestion from me to Karan please back more movies like Agneepath, Brothers and Baahubali . Please reduce your support towards Rom Coms . I have no problem with Rom Coms but sometimes it gets too repetitive .

Yes Karan no want to see you act on screens, that’s true. I read an interview of karan where Karan said the Bombay Velvet failure is being celebrate like never before in Bollywood, he said many wants that this film fail badly and it happen. I have to agree that BV was unnecessarily target since last year and negativity keep increasing day by day.
I hope Shuddhi will be a successful film as my most fav young actor Varun is there, though chances are less because that film also have the same negativity as BV had.

I would like even more if SHAHID followed by hrithik would have the choice for shuddhi,let’s see what Shuddhi can offer it’s audience but I am happy that It could be decent movie by Youngistan’s KING—-VARUN is there who already did badlapur type movies and extremely felt happy after thrown out a expressionless wooden non actor from this project.
