Hrithik Roshan celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi: Photos

The Krrish 3 superstar, Hrithik Roshan celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great pomp and splendour. Though it is difficult for the star to walk out on the streets during the usual days, the Roshan family were snapped celebrating the festival with the crowd at Juhu.

Being a devotee of Ganesha, Hrithik was seen in Karan Johar’s film ‘Agneepath’ with a traditional avatar performing ‘aarti’ for the song ‘Deva Shree Ganesha’.

The massively popular Ajay-Atul composition has become an anthem at almost every religious festival in India.

  • Hrithik Roshan’s midnight indulgence
Hiren Kotwani, TNN | Sep 11, 2013, 12.00 AM IST
    ——————————————————————————————————————–

Hrithik Roshan, who is normally extremely fitness conscious, gives in to his sweet cravings occasionally. More so, when he’s in a happy state of mind. The long weekend gone by was one of those times.

The actor was in an indulgent mood as besides the fact that he got to spend quality time with his family — grandparents, parents, et al, it was also his favourite deity — Lord Ganesha’s arrival on September 9. We hear he woke up in the middle of the night with hunger pangs. His refrigerator had lots of ice-cream and sooji halwa and, it seems he couldn’t resist the temptation. So much so, that he finished a tub of ice-cream and a big bowl of halwa.

Predictably, he felt guilty the next morning and spent an extra hour at the gym. That’s Hrithik for you, always conscious of his fitness.

  • with due respect to the beliefs, religions.. still don’t understand how could ppl consider some statues as God!!!! well if we were in the past, thousands of years ago.. human could never be blamed for the belief, but nowadays.. educated ppl.. and still with statues!! anyone could answer this question because.. yeah.. I need an answer.. I need to understand the belief is based on what exactly?

  • @Fathiya I will explain you better first of all you speaked about nowadays ..educated people and still with statues?
For that Answer is Educated in sense it shouldnt be neither Scientific nor mechanical it should be spiritual So we need proper spiritual Education To get Proper Answers

    About Religions?
Before Early man stage mono organism(like amoeba) had developed and fromed different species through that one after another after 84 Lakhs creatures Man had Formed from Monkey
He started living on his own he developed initially by satisfying his needs and used his brain multiple ways and then he ruled the earth and became unanimous Domination from rest of the species
Then He Formed Religion based on Ethics and Principles But we can call A RELIGION is an OPINION
and CASTE is about based on JOB we do

So Belief is Based on What?
Belief is based on faith inside you(FAITH had Large Topic)

    Why Statues?
For Belief or Faith!!If you develop faith then you dont need Statues but as far as others we need not break or order our opinions we have to rerspect their OPINION as i explained earlier RELIGION is an OPINION because Statues will make our mind to surrender ourselves towards god other wise these days people were polluted with movies and fellow peoples!!So in order to become control or to get rid of tensions or To share his secrets or To fulfill his wishes he uses God

    Why Ganapathi Statue?
See in other countries they will called our ganapathi as Elephant god see how we will take inspired by him here iwill explain you better with symbolic representation
HEAD-such a Big head So we should have more knowledge
    EYES-For concentration
    EARS-Large Ears to listen more
MOUTH-Short mouth to talk less(only positive)
TRUNK-Adapt efficiency and Adaptability through trunk
TUSKS-Two tusks One is full (Keep positive) and one is broken(Remove negative)
STOMACH-Such a large stomach means Digest all the negatives
    AXE-Cut the negative Chords
MOUSE-Desire should become tiny before you and we should ride on desire(Mouse was his chariot)

So FATHIYA Did you understand or shall i explain you more

  • hrithiklover: thx for explaining it but that was not the answer to my questions? if we didn’t have different beliefs.. so we didn’t have different religions for sure! the question was simple: ok.. I will ask some questions and u just give me some short answers ( if I asked so it’s because I just need to know, understand yr belief.. am watching lots of Hindi films for years, since my childhood and I see in the movies many ritual relates to God but I never understood.. I asked many Indian ppl in our country to give some explanations, but couldn’t get any convincing answers: ( if u could do so)

    1) Do these statues have soul and brain? not only this statue as a God..I meant all different statues.
    2) Did these statues create this world, human, birds, sky, earth, sun, moon, planets, etc.?
    3) What does a God mean exactly for a Hindu?
    4) If there’s a soul in this statue and could help people solve out their problems.. does he owns yr life and yr destiny? Is he the one who’ll take u to the heaven or ti the hell?
    5) If yr answers are with (no) and it’s just that a hindu would pray for it seeking some happiness or solving problems.. then who’s the real God who created you, me, and all this word in yr perspective?
    6) beside this God or any other God ( you have more than one God, as far as I know).. do u have a faith that there’s a creator of this world or simply u don’t?

Don’t feel bad about my questions.. I don’t mean ti insult or disrespect.. no.. I just meant to understand yr belief.. that’s it.

  • @Fathiya I understand your questions you have given respect to our belisfs but i dont think you have insult us I am Happy to answer your beliefs Here i will give you short answers if you have any doubt your welcome to ask again and again i will answer
If the person is really spiritual he will spreads the knowledge

    1) Do these statues have soul and brain? not only this statue as a God..I meant all different statues.
A.Yes they have Soul and not Brain but they have MIND(Tat was Pure and Thoughtless)
    2) Did these statues create this world, human, birds, sky, earth, sun, moon, planets, etc.?
    A.There are two answers
one is Yes the soul present in the statue created everything
two Statue was created by human so statue cannot create every thing(In short i m explaining otherwise it will take more)

    3) What does a God mean exactly for a Hindu?
A.Higher Wisdom is God(Pragnanam Brahma in Rig veda)

    4) If there’s a soul in this statue and could help people solve out their problems.. does he owns yr life and yr destiny? Is he the one who’ll take u to the heaven or ti the hell?
A.Yes it will help people to solve GENUINE problems
It guides our life not owns
    Destiny is on our Hands
According to our Karma we will go to Heaven or Hell(In simple if we do more good we will reach . heaven If we do more wrong we will go to Hell)

    5) If yr answers are with (no) and it’s just that a hindu would pray for it seeking some happiness or solving problems.. then who’s the real God who created you, me, and all this word in yr perspective?
A.Yes some people will pray for happiness and some pray for Solving problems but only some people pray For Eternal BLISS which is Higher state
Brahama Was the creator in our perspective

    6) beside this God or any other God ( you have more than one God, as far as I know).. do u have a faith that there’s a creator of this world or simply u don’t?
A Yes i have Faith in creator of this Universe(World)

Finally i can give you elobrated answers but you asked to answer in short to make it easy

  • Hrithiklover: thanks for yr answers, but just one question at the moment ( still didn’t see the links)

Who is Brahama? and were these Gods, in the past, were some human, guiding ppl for what’s right and what’s wrong?

  • Fathiya Welcome i think you are satisfied with my answers

    Who is Brahama?
    GOD-Generator Operator Destructor

So in That Brahma was a Generator or Creater

were these Gods, in the past, were some human, guiding ppl for what’s right and what’s wrong?
God is in Formless state. He is the Truth, consciousness and bliss
Where Humans were consist of 5 ELEMENTS Ether,Air,fire,Water,Earth
Angels were in 3 ELEMENTS Ether,Air,Fire
God was above all who was in formless state he created Angels, humans, animals everything

Below matter i got from google search above one was upto my own knowledge I have done this to understand better Even in Hindu mythology We have same answers:
    God is ONE.
He has no beginning, no end.
He was never born, and will never die.
    Fire cannot burn it
    Water cannot wet it
    Air cannot dry it up
    No weapon can cut it
    Beyond Change
    Formless and Colorless
    God is omnipresent
    God is omnipotent
    God is Omniscient
There was no such time when He was not there, and there will be no such time when He will not be there.
If we see god in our selves we get answers easily

Even i Respect Islamic Very much because of there sincerity and dedication towards God was Genuine and also i went to mosque and did namaaz also

To Explain you GOD is ONE i have a simple Logic as

    Temple-6 wrds
    Masjid-6 wrds
    Church-6 wrds

    Shiva-5
    Allah-5
    Jesus-5

Then 6-5=1 So GOD is ONE

  • God was above all who was in formless state he created Angels, humans, animals everything he is just responsible on creating Yes he will guide us only when we connect to him directly or indirectly

Directly means studying about religious or spiritual books and following them

Indirectly means Without knowledge of those books he will do all good because he himself guides because he knows what is good and bad

There is so much Depth in this but to make it easy i just made you easy to understand

  • According to Hindu Mythology Major four Vedas had explained us the true meaning to understand God
If you understand below 4 essences of our vedas is enough to reach or understand god

Pragnanam Bramha (Higher wisdom is the God)
Aham Bramhasmi (I am the god)
Tatvamasi (That is what you are) and( “Thou art that,” “You are that,” or “That you are,”)
Ayamaatma Bramha (our soul and God are the same)

  • Hrithiklover : what u have explained is that u believe that God is the only power, wasn’t born.. would never die.. that’s all what muslm ppl believe in too! except that Muslim ppl never believe in communicating with God thru a statue..they would pray for the God who’s un reachable, reaching his soul and his power only.. when our Prophit Mohamed came with Quran so it was to guide the ppl to the truth as ppl used to pray for Statues and to make them believe that God as above all that.. and could never be worshiped thru statues, therefore the war started between Muslims and non believers who continued in their beliefs and till today.. that’s the difference but the belief is almost the same! what u have explained proves it
