We reported in the morning yesterday that the opening of Abhishek Kapoor’s Fitoor was disastrous. But there was hope that the film would pick up towards the end of the day, like most such films do. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen.
‘Fitoor’ has collected Rs 3.61 crore on Day 1, which is lower than both the Hollywood film ‘Deadpool’ and the other Hindi release ‘Sanam Re’.
The reports are mixed to negative too, which pretty much seals the fate of the Katrina Kaif starrer on Day 1 itself.
It remains to be seen where Fitoor goes from here. The film has to double its Friday business on Saturday if it has to have any chance, but reports coming from exhibitors on Saturday morning are ominous signs that Fitoor is heading towards becoming a disaster. The occupancy on Saturday morning is lower than Friday at almost all centres that we tracked and some shows have been cancelled.
#IndicineFBO: We predicted a figure of Rs 5.2 crore for Fitoor and the film hasn’t even come close. After accurately predicting the business of 5 films after the release of Wazir, Fitoor is our second incorrect prediction of the year. The difference is 30% and the reason for this is, once again, the extremely unpredictable nature of film business. Who would have thought that a film that was promoted well, had good music and quite a bit of star value due to Katrina’s presence, would open to such disastrous numbers?

Both have Jagga jasoos and that can actually be an all time disaster as well. Ranbir may still revive himself as he is a decent actor but Katrina is not an actress. She is just a pretty face. She is 0 without Khans, Akshay and Hrithik. And hope from here on we only see her in item songs because she is only suited to them.

Cinematography n art direction s top notch n word class. D film looks like a beautiful piece of art in every single frame, thumbs up
B) Aditya roy kapoor n Tabu r d soul of d film.
As a passionate lover aditya delivers pretty good . Tabu s top notch. Can’t describe how she manages her complex character with such ease. N as a young begum aditi roy haidari also make her presence felt.
C) music n Bgm of d film s a real treat n it s used in a very beautifull manner n d film. N also d dialogues r pretty good n catchy.
But d Negatives r –
A) first of all d build up s strong but d film lacks d end punch n getting Lil bit confusing in d last half an hour n d climax s very flat . Screenplay neither good nor convincing enough. They r try 2 make a classic but d writing s not up to d mark n lacks soul . confusing narrative style n poor writing , where d film fails pretty bad
B)Abhishek kapoor –
Didn’t look like DAT he has d control over d script. N he can’t hold d film tight.
C) Katrina kaif –
Looks stunning, but acting wise not up to d mark as always. Although director also doesn’t give her that much emotional or complicated scenes.
D) d slow narration s also a problem. Editing could have been better n supporting casts r also disappoints.
Over all #Fitoor s neither bad nor good.
The makers can make a classic out of it but failed miserably. But still u can watch #Fitoor n enjoy because of some brilliant performances n wonderful music.
N plz #KillPiracy go n watch movies only in theaters.

Waiting for Jaaga Jasoos combination of Ranbir and Katrina it will be fun to watch the outcome.
This will hurt Katrina. Some time ago she was at top and competing with Deepika. Aditya had also delivered Ashiqui 2, a big hit. So I never imagined their movie will open lower than a movie like Sanam Re.
With an opening like this and negative reviews even 30 cr looks tough so a big flop.

Film’s Collection is disastrous as it collected 3.61cr yesterday & it will be a Disaster for sure.
But Its good to see that UTV don’t Manipulate the collection as Trade Figure is 3.58cr & Difference is only
3 Lakhs\ 0.03cr.
On the other hand Sanam Re’s Producers figure is 5.04cr & Trade figure is 3.60cr.
Difference is 1.44cr another big manipulated film like Mastizaade.
But Deadpool is a surprise Hit with 4.1cr(Trade figure)opening day higher than both the Hindi Film.
She is thankless woman so we will never watch her movie ever, banga hamara bhai ke sath
