FAN had a huge crash of nearly 86% in its second weekend at the box office. The decline in business is unprecedented for a Shah Rukh Khan film, because even 2011’s Ra One collected Rs 9.65 crore in its second weekend, while FAN has collected just Rs 7.75 crore.
Even Jab Tak Hai Jaan in 2012 collected Rs 11.03 crore in its second weekend. The comparison itself is unfair because business has grown quite significantly from 2011-2012, what was decent then, is extremely poor now.
The downfall of FAN is not only because the film was completely rejected by moviegoers, but also because of the phenomenal run of The Jungle Book. The third Sunday collections (Rs 8.69 crore) of the Hollywood film was more than the entire second weekend business of FAN.
The Maneesh Sharma directed film has collected Rs 79.25 crore in 10 days, it will finish with net box office collections of around 85-87 crore in India.
For a film made on a budget of Rs 105 crore, the theatrical share from both India and Overseas will be less than Rs 75 crore. The recovery from the Indian market will be around the 45 crore mark.

Awesome news great collection from Maya memsab star. They trolled us after prdp collection though it was superhit but I will request to all bhai fans not to add salt to the wounds as srkian successfully brought back to earth.
Never mind. SRK will bounce back strongly with Raees. Just hope it gets a good release date.

EDX is missing so SRK gave big flop…without EDX he is below Emraan hasmi of dirty picture
yrf just revealed that Gaurav’s character was played by some other guy & not Srk.
So all trade sites should note down that Fan is not Srk film as he did just a extended special appearance in film like his 4 songs & 100 min role in Billu.
so don’t include Fan in Srk’s filmography.
So Srk’s consecutive successful films streak is still on & we will discuss about his Lead/Cameo in Raees once its BO fate out.
Till then do whatever you want do but don’t add Fan as flop in Srk filmography.

Before dilwale I already predicted total of dilwale, fan & raees will not able to beat BB collection, I think it’s gonna true have to wait few days more to enjoy the moment.

Its a major blow and I am sure when SRK gets to know the BO verdict of FAN he wont take it lightly. He hates failures and will bounce back strongly.
I thought FAN would join the list of CDI, MNIK, Devdas but unfortunately it joined the list of Swades, Dil Se, Anjaam i.e BO failures with Great performance by SRK.
Fan is flop but very happy that he started doing something new and its just matter of one good script like BB,Pk 3idiets. Decline of srk is started now and all srkian including me should accept that.But still he commands huge fan following that why his each and every movie get fantastic opening even after long time after MNIK he given acting oriented performance argulbaly best of this decade.But commen audience lost trust on him.Now it is time for Srk to woke up and do more logical and acting oriented movie rather doing crap like HNY,Dilwale etc…

Bajrangi Bhaijaan = 320 crore
Dilwale + FAN = 230 crore. Can Raees do 90 crore for 3 SRK films to beat BB??? 110 crore to beat Aamir’s one film PK. Leaving aside that China collections of PK is more then India collections of FAN.

The collections of the movie are totally unacceptable for a srk film, his image among the bollywood audience will decline significantly, he has to do something extraordinary to get back his status among the other 2 khans
After failure of FAN, Srk is so scared of SULTAN that he is not only postponing Raees, but releasing it next year, as far away from SULTAN as possible.
It should be declared Disaster considering the mammoth budget & very rich content..!!

SRK needs to fire his manager Mandvi Sharma.. If people around him that behave like his chamchas and make him feel like he’s duniya ka sabse bada superstar.
Get a reality check, fire your advisors and chamchas.. select better films. Audience is not a fool to believe paid reviews and fake satellite rights figures of 55 cr.

Failure is not a matter but for the person who claiming for highest fanbase in the world on other hand his movie is not able to get just average grosser infact flop at the boxoffice with solo release and fantastic reviews.. Just ridiculous and This is also make a question on the stardom of srk.

I must say this movie was never meant for boxoffice.. i dont know why they invested such a huge amount.. this movie needed a controlled budget.. it was definitely an intense movie with power pack performance of srk.. he nailed it this time.. i am not disappointed with the boxoffice outcome as long as i see such performances.. 3.5 stars from my side..
