Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal Khan is ready with his comeback film ‘Danger’, which is scheduled to release on August 5 – the same day as Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar.
The director of the film has confirmed that the release date of the film is confirmed, as long as they receive the first copy of their film by April-end.
“If we get the first copy of our film by April end, then we will stick to our original release date, August 4. But if our first copy gets delayed, then we will have to push our film. We don’t want to clash with Aamir ideally, but then our genre is completely different from that of Secret Superstar. His film is a children’s film and ours is a horror film” the director of Faisal Saif, said.
While it’s clear that the makers intend on getting publicity by clashing with an Aamir Khan promoted film, his brother Faisal says they might not get theatres.
“I don’t want to clash with Aamir’s film because it’s a big release and I think we will not get proper theaters to release our film. I think it will be a wise decision to shift our date, but it will purely be the director’s call” Faisal Khan said.
