Deepika Padukone in Salman Khan’s Kick?
After the success of Dabangg 2, Salman Khan’s next film is yet to go on floors. The superstars upcoming films include a film directed by Sohail Khan, the sequel to ‘No Entry’ and ‘Kick’ directed by Sajid Nadiadwala.
Recently, there were reports that Sonakshi Sinha was signed to play the female lead. But now, there are murmurs in the industry that the actress has opted out.
Ever since Nadiadwala bought the official rights of the Telugu movie Kick, soon after the success of ‘Wanted’, the remake has been in news for all the wrong reasons. Post Dabangg, Sajid finalized Salman-Sonakshi as the lead pair. After talks with A.R Murugadoss failed to materialize, Shirish Kunder was finalized as the director. But, a day after the ‘Joker’ debacle, Shirish announced on Twitter that he is no longer a part of the project. Later, it was announced that Sajid Nadiadwala would make his directorial debut with the movie. (article continued after the image)

Now, industry insiders say, Sonakshi has also been dropped from the project. Reportedly, Sonakshi has hiked her acting fee after four super-successful films – Dabangg, Rowdy Rathore, Son of Sardaar and Dabangg 2.
Although Sonakshi had little do in the success of the above mentioned movies, she was considered to be a lucky charm. This has not gone down too well with the makers of Kick and they are currently looking for alternate options. Deepika Padukone is the front runner for the leading lady opposite Salman but she is occupied with Chennai Express and Ram Leela. If her dates can be worked out, Kick could well see a fresh on-screen pair of Salman and Deepika.
Nadiadwala has also roped in Randeep Hooda, who will play the role of a police officer which was essayed by Telugu actor Shaam in the original. Kick will be filmed in various foreign locations like Korea and London. The shooting will begin in August after Salman is done with Sohail’s Mental.

Deepika would be a better choice than sonakshi in ‘kick’ and the fresh, hot & exciting pairing of deepika & the one man army -- salman will make sure that ‘kick’ will kick the butts of all the old bollywood records once and for all to rewrite new ones in golden letters. Eagerly waiting for this mega blockbuster to redefine action in bollywood as sajid & salman are leaving no stone unturned to make it on par with hollywood action and is being touted as one of the costliest movies to be ever made in indian cinema history.

@imtiaz Lol Salman maybe 47 but he looks younger than most 27 year olds my friend. Age is just a number, Salman and Aamir both look younger than men half their age unlike a certain SRK who actually looks his age but acts like a spoilt kid half his age. (wankhede stadium incident being one instance of showing egotistic petulance)

@imtiaz Lol you are blinded by srks ‘original’ beauty so cant argue with you on that. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say. But Salman bhai looks younger than SRK due to whatever reasons so that is a fact. He not only looks younger but he feels younger too. He is fitness personified whereas SRKs smoking is catching up with him fast.

Sonakshi opting out could be a blessing in disguise. Salman and Deepika in Kick would look super duper hot together. With Deepikas sexy long legs and Salman bhais awesome 6 pack on show- wow mind blowing picturisation, cinematography and choreography- it will be a treat for the audiences.
