Aamir Khan’s Dangal will beat the lifetime business of Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan to become the second highest grosser of all time. The film has collected Rs 320 crore in 15 days, maintaining an average of 20 crore plus for over two weeks.
Dangal will cross the 335 crore mark by the end of its 3rd weekend and should beat the lifetime business of PK on Monday. If the growth is excellent over the weekend like the previous two weeks, then it could beat PK by the end of this weekend itself.
The 400 crore mark looks out of reach, but apart from ‘OK Jaanu’ next week, Dangal will face no competition before the release of ‘Raees’ and ‘Kaabil’ on 25 January.
