mnik after release:- mnik was an awesome film…but its genre was different so it didn’t beat 3 idiots…next year srk coming in action genre with don2 & raone…they “will surely beat 3 idiots!!!!

before raone release:- raone will cross ready in first week itself and definitely beat bg & 3 idiots!!!!

after raone release:- people dont understand srk’s emotions and acting in raone…who cares!! anyways don2 will surely beat bodyguard!!

It has not clearly crossed 20 crores. JTHJ has done very well despite Diwali day interruptions & SOS masala biggie competition.

EID is the single best day of film release. Followed by 15th August. ETT & Dabanng took full advantage of it as SOLO releases.

SRK needs to target EID 2013 with Chennai Express hoping its full on 2 hrs Masala movie.

Dabanng-2 is clearly struggled to get to 20 crores on Day 1 when everyone predicted 24-25 crores on Day 1 despite working day because of the Brand Chulbul Pandey.

Sallu has taken full advantage of & exploited EID day as SOLO release. SRK has not.

EID is where the single best opening day figures are at. Public both masses & classes starved for major superstar release for last month. Dont matter how bakwaas the movie is (ETT), both will rush to catch it at EID day due to starvation.

Hence, the best BO collection for day 1 as SOLO. Both Dabanng 2010 & ETT 2012 has that. 3-IDIOTS would’ve gone on to collect 270+ crores if released on EID instead of CHRISTMAS.

SRK must target EID 2013 for CHENNAI EXPRESS. hopefully SOLO.
