After amassing Rs 12.85 crore on its opening day, Akshay Kumar’s Boss was steady at the box office on Day 2 with business of around 7.5 – 7.75 crore net. The drop was around 40%, which was expected as Thursday was a working day.
Single-screens continued to be rock-steady, and the footfalls (number of tickets sold) were about 30% higher than the second day of Besharam. Yet, the overall all India net collections is about the same, as Boss is yet to gain momentum at multiplexes.
Friday morning reports are good, the film could put up slightly better numbers today if the evening shows pick up. Since the response at smaller / mass centres has been overwhelmingly positive, Boss could collect 20-22 crore on Saturday and Sunday, taking its 5-day extended weekend total to 50 crore.

@raja why you post fake budget, otherwise boxofficeindia are’t fool. D2 budget 75cr, mnik budget 38cr, jthj budget 60cr thats why boi decleare hit. Sp26 budget 45cr but earn 60cr thats why it decleare semi hit. If you are talking about roi then ce total budget 75cr, earn 227cr, if k3 or d3 break it but they can’t break roi of ce. The fact is fact, high budget film is always risky but srk can’t gave flop that why he is the king of bollywood.
