Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi has passed the Monday test, as the film is set to cross the 6 crore mark on its first weekday. As per early estimates, Baaghi has collected around 6 – 6.25 crore on Monday.
The film is going strong in circuits like Delhi/UP, Rajasthan, Bihar, C.I, C.P and it’s these circuits that will continue to drive the business of the film. In Gujarat too, the film has shown an excellent trend, both over the weekend, followed by a very good hold on Monday. It’s the smaller B and C centres that are generating a healthy number of footfalls, which hasn’t been the case for most films this year – apart from the Hollywood release ‘The Jungle Book’.
Baaghi has collected around Rs 44.5 – 45 crore in 4 days. The first weekend total will be around the 59 – 60 crore mark. With no major Hindi release next week, Baaghi has every chance of scoring in its second weekend too. If it does, it’ll go past films like Neerja and Kapoor & Sons to become the 3rd highest grosser of the year.
The Tiger Shroff – Shraddha Kapoor starrer could also do the unthinkable and outgross a big film like Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN, which has collected Rs 84 crore in 17 days at the domestic (India) box office. It would be a massive achievement because it would then be the highest grossing film of April 2016.
Baaghi has also attained ‘HIT’ status in India. The film will recover its entire investment from theatrical business alone. Satellite and recovery from all the various other rights will be profits.

When I left for my Pluto trip, @babaji was a hrithik fan. Now, when I’m back, he has turned out to be a rebel.

Baaghi will see a drop in collections in multiplexes from next week as Captain America is arriving and it will be the first choice for the moviegoers.
It will still do decent business in single screens.
My lifetime prediction is around 78 to 82 crs.
I enjoyed Baaghi only because of Tiger Shroff. He is just terrific in action. Shraddha was sweet. But the film lacks a good script.. Films with no writing hardly stay with people.
Tiger shroff has all what it takes to be a superstar.. His USP, apart from his action and dance moves, is his connect with the masses. People were whistling and clapping when he made his entry and when he went shirtless. And let me tell you, this was not a single screen, This was a high end multiplex chain like PVR.

Not only Sona,Ranveer acting was flawless…way above his age…the next superstar that might be giving Hrithik sir a run for his money years to come when the veteran guards becomes more and more selective …..Though don’t think Hrithik will be dethroned till he retires…just my perception.. it’s Tinsel town ..anything is possible.
