He’s the producer, director and the lead superstar of ‘Shivaay’, but if that wasn’t enough, Ajay Devgn will be singing a song for his highly-ambitious upcoming film.
It was music composer Mithoon’s idea to make Ajay sing, continuing the trend of lead actors lending their voice to songs in their films.
“I discussed the idea with him in January before he left to shoot in Bulgaria. Ajay has a great ear for music and this song is the heart of the film. He loved the concept and agreed to sing. Since the film’s inspiration is Lord Shiva, the song needed to emanate power, charisma and a certain intensity. I couldn’t think of anyone but Ajay to sing it” Mithoon said.
Talking about the music album of ‘Shivaay’, Mithoon says his team has worked hard to create the right sound for one of the biggest releases of the year.
“We have worked extremely hard to create the right sound. I haven’t made anything like this in the last 10 years” Mithoon added.
‘Shivaay’ is scheduled to release in theatres during the Diwali weekend in 2016.

Ajay has given 30 crore opening day while Akki has done max 20 crore opening day.
Ajay is the 5th biggest star after Khans & Roshan.
Ranbir is the 6th biggest and Akshay the 7th biggest star.
To b very honest, I honestly don’t care abt shivaay so far. This is simply coz of the over hype the PR machinery is trying to weave around it. There simply isn’t enough info abt the movie to b actually concerned with. This in ur face attitude might work hv worked in an era where star power dominated the feeble mind, but after the dilwale debacle, I am pretty sure this attitude will only irk the curiosity of the average movie goer, eventual footfall will then also depend on the word of mouth or the critics review of the movie.
getting arijit or ankit is not hard and if songs are important then y are they taking a chance

When u will type any superstar’s name on Google then u will see some latest articles about them IN THE NEWS But When u will type ajay devgan name then u will not see even single article about him IN THE NEWS most of the time because nobody reads About him ?. An interesting clash coming up on Diwali. ADHM was initially looking quite interesting but with Ranbir now going through a bad phase the movie is suddenly looking a bit dull. His upcoming movie, Jagga Jasoos, may make matters even worse. He will eventually bounce back as he is a good actor but till that time the initial collections of his movie will take a hit. Aishwarya is also no longer any major attraction.
So expecting now Shivay to beat ADHM. But with how big margin? That only the content of movies will decide.
I remember I didnt give any chance to SoS when it clashed with JTHJ. But when movies released, SoS put up a really tough fight and almost beat JTHJ. Reason again was content. JTHJ turned out to be an average movie (with a strange storyline) and SoS proved to be a better entertainer. Not that SoS was a masterpiecebut it delivered what it promised i.e. entertainment. With JTHJ, people expected a lot more as it was directed by Yash Chopra.

I was on my way to the airport for a shooting Kajol dad was sick Ajay was already on board to fly off when he learnt about kajol dad he rang me. Ask me what I was doing I said am on my way to airport for Mauritius he then said okay no problem I asked him Ajay what’s the problem he told me he wanted me to please pacify kajol she is emotionally .. before he finished I told him I will do that for him immediately I told the driver to take a u turn and I did not travel again. So when media talks about kajol and I Ajay does not see it that way. He is a professional my senior in the industry and I respect him a lot .

I can’t forget that day. All was fine mash Allah. After watching that interview I was touched and then wondered why Srk went to sets of SR to hug Ajay? Ajay is a nice guy when my guru can praise this man why should I keep mallice unnecessary. I wish him the very best.
