Ajay Devgan has officially announced the release date of Son Of Sardar. The film is all set to clash against Shahrukh Khan’s next directed by Yash Chopra, on 13th November 2012.
Tezz may have failed at the box-office, but Son of Sardar is inspired from a Telugu film Maryada Ramanna. The critically acclaimed original was one of the biggest grossers of 2010, supposedly has a strong script and holds tremendous mass appeal.

Directed by Ashwani Dhir, Son of Sardar also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawla. The music will be composed by Himesh Reshammiya.
It’s final then – SRK vs Ajay Devgan this Diwali. And what’s more, SRK’s best friend and business partner Juhi Chawla has a key role to play in Son of Sardar!

I would frankly say that Ajay is the best buddy of Sallu and Amir and that’s why he is releasing SOS along with SRK’s next venture this Diwali so that there will be huge loss of money to SRK’s next!!May be SOS will have better opening than SRK’s next!!
cannot say anything now but we know that SOS has a good script and we have no idea about the yash’s movie. so SOS is clearly ahead. And if we see a ro.one kind of promotion we know whats gonna happen with SRK.

I HAD WATCHED THE TELEGU VERSION. IT IS SUPERB. THE story IS FANTASTIC AND MASS APPEALING. SOS WILL OPEN LOWER THAN SRK’S MOVIE BUT IN THE LONG RUN SOS WILL BE THE WINNER.

i had watched the telegu version. it is superb. the story is fantastic and mass appealing. sos will open lower than srk’s movie but in the long run sos will be the winner.
Both will be hit sos will take less takings at the box office than srks film but sos will make more profit due to controlled cost. srk film will be high in cost due to heavy promotion
